If you would like to create and donate a quilt,
pillowcase or a quilt top, see #1-#4 below.

This is just a partial Wish List* of what we need
and can use to create and construct quilts.

Keep in mind that the campers' age range is
8-15 years old. Rangers are 16-17 years old.

1.) Completed rectangular quilts* that will be used on twin size bunk beds;
       required sizes:

      No smaller than 55" X 65", no larger than 65" X 75"
(Calculate approximately 10" difference between the width and length of finished tops)

Ideal size is 55”x 65” after quilted or tied,
                            bound and laundered

A completed quilt* consists of a top, batting, and backing, either tied or stitched with no more than 6” between rows of stitches.  Edges bound with an attached binding.  There is shrinkage in laundering. Allow for that when creating a quilt or top.
We are more in need of boys' quilts for ages 14-17, than girls' quilts.

2.)Pillow cases
standard sized, constructed of NEW COTTON fabric,
with  finished seams -Serged or enclosed (French)
We have kits & instructions available if you want to take, make and return the completed         pillowcases to us. Please contact us with questions.

We are more in need of pillowcases for boys and girls
in the younger age range, 8-10 year olds
.

3.) Pieced quilt tops with backing ( 4 yards for an entire backing) or without backing  that fall within the required sizes listed in #1 above, and fabric content as listed in #4 below,  with  coordinated binding,  2 1/2" wide , 8 strips x WOF or equivalent.

4.) 100% COTTON fabric; cheerful, kid friendly prints NO GLITTERY FABRICS.
           No Holiday or Religious themes.

We are not accepting flannel, fleece, denim, or knit fabrics*
